Legendary horror host and filmmaker Raymond P Whalen has returned to the Twin Cities after a long hiatus to unleash his unprecedented new creation, a school bus sized carnivorous monster dubbed Vorehemoth.
Said Whalen, “Vorehemoth must live. Vorehemoth must eat. Hail Vorehemoth.”
After a successful crowd-funding campaign Whalen has acquired the resources to make his dream of building the world’s largest practical human eating monster a reality. He is now seeking brave volunteers who would like to be consumed by the monster as part of the spectacular finale of his new feature length science fiction monster film entitled VOREHEMOTH. All participants will receive acting credit in Whalen’s film as well as credit in a feature documentary about Whalen, entitled VORE KING, from multi-award-winning local director Dan S. Participants are asked to arrive at Premises Art Space no later than 1:00PM on Saturday, June 13th, 2015.
Said VORE KING director Dan S, “Free food will be provided for all who volunteer to be ‘eaten’ by Vorehemoth and this is a professional film production so everyone’s safety and enjoyment will be a priority. And since this performance is occurring the same weekend as Northern Spark I believe it will be a fun and memorable way for people to kick-off their Northern Spark experience!”
The narrative of the VOREHEMOTH film calls for primarily female extras during this crucial final scene but volunteers of any gender are encouraged to participate. Suggested attire is beach/swim wear but volunteers are permitted to wear anything that is comfortable. All participants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to sign a waiver.
All interested parties are asked to make contact at VOREKINGMOVIE@gmail.com. Updates about the event will be made periodically at WWW.VOREKING.COM. Interviews and high-resolution images are available upon request.
